I locked all my notes and I forgot my password. How do I recover my notes?

If you set a password hint, it will show if you entered the password incorrectly many times.

Also if you made a backup copy of your notes then you can uninstall the app then install it again, open the app, tap on the menu icon in the top left corner and choose 'Restore' to restore your notes from the backup file but you must have made a previous backup copy of your notes.

I got a new phone/tablet. How do I transfer my notes to my new phone/tablet?

In your old phone/tablet open the app and tap the menu icon in the top left corner and choose 'Backup'.

Transfer the backup file from the SD card of your old phone/tablet to the SD card of your new phone/tablet. All backup files have the extension '.kmnb'

After moving the backup file to your new phone/tablet, open the app, and tap on the menu icon in the top left corner again but this time choose the 'Restore' option to restore all your notes.

I do not like the ads in the app. How can I remove them?

You can do this by upgrading to the premium version of the app by tapping on the menu icon in the top left corner and selecting the 'Premium' option.

I locked one of my notes with a password and I forgot it. How can I recover this note?

This note can only be recovered if you remembered the password. Next time use a password you can remember or perhaps store it in a safe place.

How do I paste a text copied from another source to my note?

In the editing area of any of your notes, long tap and select 'Paste' and the text that you copied will be pasted at the cursor position.

Can I add images to my notes?

Yes you can. In any of your notes, tap the menu icon in the top right corner and choose 'Attachments'. Now add all the images you want to your notes.

Can I sync my notes between all my devices?

Yes you can, open the app and tap on the menu icon in the top left corner and choose 'Synchronization'.

I forgot my sync password. Is there a way to get my password back?

If you have the sync option already active on any of your devices, you can open the app on that device and tap on the menu icon in the top left corner and choose 'Synchronization' then tap on the icon in the upper right corner and from the menu select 'Disable Synchronization' and then reactivate the synchronization again from the same screen and the app will show you the sync password that you used.
